Fall Leaf Zentangle
On Saturday, October 21st at 2:00pm, Appalachian Arts Center will offer community members a way to celebrate the autumn season through creative expression. Certified Zentangle instructor Kat Van Rooyen, who received her certification from the method's founders, will lead participants in the creation of a Zentangle inspired fall leaf. Poetry Reading with Jesse Graves
On Tuesday, October 10th at 7:00pm, Appalachian Arts Center will host poet Jesse Graves for a public reading of his works, as part of the Rodd Altizer Poet-in-Residence program, sponsored by Southwest Virginia Community College. Books will be for sale and available for Graves to autograph following his reading, and during the reception.
