Come make this great tote basket!

Barbara Herald Sadler will be teaching another great basket weaving class on Saturday, April 28th, from 11-3:30pm at Appalachian Arts Center. Participants will learn how to make the below pictured tote basket (a favorite!) (The tote pictured below has been stained, and much loved, leading to is darker tone. Participants may choose to darken their baskets at home, or leave them natural, which is a light straw color. This functional yet beautiful piece has many fantastic uses, including purse, casual "briefcase", lunch/picnic basket, carry all, or magazine/book storage basket for the home. The cost of the class is $60, and students may reserve a spot via credit card by calling the Center at 276-596-9188, or stopping by during regular business hours: Tuesday- Friday:12-6pm, and Saturday: 10am-6pm. There is space for only 20 students, and we are getting full, so call asap! Participants should bring with them the following items: a gallon bucket, spray bottle, old towel, a pair of scissors and a bag lunch.
