Appalachian Arts Center will be hosting it's Third Annual Arts Invitational during November and December. The works will include jewelry, baskets, paintings, prints, mosaic collages, several alcohol ink pieces, wooden crafts, chairs, wire sculptures, and soaps and body sprays. The Center is excited to have these new works by Kathy Gibian, Duane Cregger, Carolyn Neal, Timothy Romano, Bonita Sink, Richard Lindamood, Aliya Trinity, Isaac Preston, Linda Brown, and Jimmy Cordle. In addition, the Center has new inventory for the holidays from a number of it's artisans.
The exhibition opens in November and will run through December 21st, 2013. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 1-3 pm. The public is invited to stop by, enjoy some light refreshments and meet the artists. Also, award-winning carver Jeff Bailey will be on hand demonstrating his wood carving techniques, and several local authors will be available for book signings.
